Open your DBPR record and gather your license number, expiration date, course certificate, and relevant notices. Your next step depends on exactly what is missing.

I missed my first-renewal post-licensing.
Missing required post-licensing can make the license null and void. Buying 14-hour CE will not fix that. Ask DBPR about requalification and any qualifying hardship relief promptly.
Brokers have a specific statutory route to seek a sales associate license after a missed broker post deadline, with education and timing conditions. Have DBPR confirm whether it is available in your case.
I missed a later renewal.
For an involuntarily inactive license, the education depends on elapsed time:
- 12 months or less: at least 14 hours of prescribed CE.
- More than 12 but fewer than 24 months: a 28-hour reactivation course.
Renewal and late fees also apply. A license involuntarily inactive for more than two years becomes null and void. Confirm the precise deadline and required steps with DBPR before returning to practice.
My education is not showing up.
Contact the school that issued the certificate. Provide the completion date, course title, license number, and a copy of the certificate. Ask the provider to check the reporting record and correct any mismatch.
Post-licensing can display differently from CE. A missing row on a CE screen does not by itself prove post-licensing was not reported. Keep the certificate and verify your requirement with DBPR.
I failed a final or my school access expired.
Failed the traditional Course 1 or Course 2 final? The pre-licensing rule permits one retest, at least 30 days after the original exam and within one year. If the one-year window expires or that retest is not passed, you must repeat the course before another final. Arrange the retest with your school; confirm FastPass-specific certification instructions directly with Daniel.
Failed the state exam? That follows a different process. You can reschedule while your education and state eligibility remain valid, and each new attempt has a separate exam fee. Read the state-exam retake steps or check the school-final rule.
Portal access expired? If a valid certificate has already been issued, an expired login is not the same thing as expired course completion. Check the separate dates before buying another course.
Before enrolling elsewhere, identify the exact missing requirement. Daniel can help you understand the education options; DBPR determines license eligibility and status.
